Using pieces of body to adorn other bodies helps us appreciate the joy that comes from the acceptance of our 'Thingness', as the '70s contemporary artist Paul Thek defined it, influenced by his visit to the Capuchin Catacombs in Palermo.
The Thingness collection is inspired to the artist's work and features eyes, boobies, teeth and legs. The Thingness collection is deadly serious but looks fun.
This is La Palpata Earring, a funky detail for an everyday look, or wherever you feel you need an extra boobie.
'Palpata' is quite difficult to translate in one word, in Italian it is used to talk about being touched in an inappropriate way.
***Price per single earring***
Most of the adjectives used to talk about strength are phallic, have you ever heard the expression ballsy woman or phallic lady? Let alone sexual preferences, it’s quite weird.
I wish boobies will become the symbol of female strength instead of a sexual one, some sort of upper balls.
I decided to make my boobies hanging and quite cartoonish. We are not perfect, but we are fun.

The disembodied body parts of the Thingness Collection are slightly creepy but kind of kitschy and simply adorable.
